Hazard: The product presents a high risk of choking as the battery compartment is not securely fixed to restrict the access to button batteries. The battery box had a removable lid with a hole intended for a screw which would secure the lid, but no screw was present. Once removed, the battery fitted wholly inside the small parts cylinder and therefore poses a potential choking hazard to a young child. The batteries also present a chemical risk as, if swallowed, can result in serious internal chemical burns and damage to the gastrointestinal tract.
Corrective Action: The product has been destroyed at the border.
