Hazard: The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock as it has basic insulation in contact with accessible live parts, which could lead to the product being made live under fault conditions. The plug also did not meet the requirements of the relevant standard BS 1363, including the lack of compliant live and neutral screws. The plug’s fuse was also noncompliant with the relevant standard BS 1362. The product also required improvements to labelling, markings and instructions.
Corrective Action: The product has been destroyed at the border.
