Hazard: The products present a serious risk of electric shock due to the misleading information that the product is waterproof. Under test conditions, water droplets were found to be on the live connections to the socket outlet demonstrating that the product allows moisture ingress. This can lead to a risk of electric shock and/or fire and demonstrates that the product is not water resistant, as it claims to be.
Corrective Action: OPSS is requiring the recall of the products from end users.
