Hazard: The optional battery/charger kit installed on some V64 and S10 Vimec stairlifts has been recalled as it presents a risk of fire. It has been identified that the Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) can overheat and allow the charger to burn.
Corrective Action: Vimec have contacted end users and distributors directly to inform them of the issues identified and the recall.
