Hazard: The product has been assessed as presenting a serious risk of drowning. The product was advertised as a life jacket, but once purchased was identified as a buoyancy aid (which does not provide the same level of protection). When tested, the red pull toggle of the inflation mechanism and the whistle easily detached from their cords, which would impair activation of the product when relied upon.
Corrective Action: OPSS is requiring the recall of the product from end users.
