Hazard: The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the product is inadequately earthed, with poor clamping to secure against loosening. Therefore, if the clamping became loose, the product would become live at mains voltage. Ultimately, this would cause a consumer to get an electric shock if they touched the surrounding metal parts of the product. The instructions provided with the product were inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment.
Corrective Action: The import has been rejected at the border. Update: 28th April 2023: The product mentioned in case 2212-0026 and 2208-0327 has been recalled from end users by Super Smart Service.
