Hazard: The product presents a risk of fire as the plug pins did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363, as the height of the live and neutral pin sleeves exceeded the maximum. This could damage or weaken the contacts in the socket. When a different plug is inserted to that socket it may not make satisfactory contact and cause arcing or sparking, leading to a risk of fire.
Corrective Action: The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
